Tmvi Procedure

Tmvi Procedure

The TMVI procedure is a minimally invasive treatment for valvular heart disease. It is performed using a catheter, which is inserted through a small incision in the groin, and passed through the heart to the diseased valve. There, the catheter is used to deliver a small amount of thermal energy to the valve, which results in the formation of a scar. This scar tissue then replaces the diseased valve tissue, and the valve is able to function properly once again.

The TMVI procedure is a safe and effective treatment for valvular heart disease, and has a very low risk of complications. It is minimally invasive, and can be performed on an outpatient basis.
